Östergatan 57 in Ängelholm has always been a meeting place. Ängelholm's first Folkets Hus actually started here as early as 1899!
When Backahill bought the property in 2015 (which had at that point seen its best years), new ideas were formed to recreate a new, wonderful meeting place for everyone, where food, culture, meetings and people gathered under one roof again - "A living room for everyone"
Our concept, developed by SPIK Studios, is based on the idea of a modern, warm and familiar “townhouse”, which evokes newness and inspires. Here, wonderful atmosphere, music and people meet in a wonderful mix. That the rooms and accommodations are of a good standard matters of course, as does the personal service. Together we hope to give you a unique experience.
In 2020, the Östlundh family took over the ownership of the hotel and we have since been part of HKC Hotels, where we are accompanied by five fine sister hotel in different locations spread out in Sweden.
